On August 12th, we sponsored the 2nd Annual WHB Concours held by the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. Guests were entertained by our Vantage Auto cornhole, while enjoying the sights of all the classics. The event was filled with car collectors and car enthusiasts alike, as the specially curated cars were exhibited for guests to enjoy. The theme of the Concours celebrated two automotive icons: Chevrolet celebrating 70 years of the Corvette and Porsche celebrating 75 years of automotive history. 

On August 5th, we sponsored the Annual Hamptons Concours put on by Rand Luxury. We displayed an assortment of our top builds from Mercedes G Wagons, Land Rover Defenders, Toyota Land Cruisers, and more.  All were from our Reserve brand, presented for our guests to see. We had a tremendous turnout with a lot of interest, especially with our most recent Land Rover Defender 90 build. See our full inventory to learn more about our classic builds.

On Thursday, June 1st, we took four Mercedes G Wagons to one of the most popular automotive destinations in New Jersey, Sunday Motor Co Cafe. Known for being an automotive hotspot and car enthusiast destination, we attended the 6th iteration of their Clubsport Supper Series. The main road in front of the cafe was shut down for the night and turned into a car gathering. Curated cars parked throughout the lot with a special Porsche-Mercedes to make its debut. Food was provided by New York City’s oldest and most celebrated dim sum parlor, Nom Wah.

On March 4, 2023, over 100 automobiles, vintage aircraft and luxury jets were gathered in the setting sun on the tarmac of Fernandina Beach’s Bent Wing Flight Service. Curated by Carcoterie, the evening brought together car collectors and enthusiasts to enjoy a shared passion, specialty curated cars, jets, wine and music. 

This was our first time attending the Concours, joining in on the 27th Annual Greenwich Concours presented by Hagerty. We had the opportunity to showcase four of our current Mercedes G Wagons at two locations on the lawn. Each location had a special selection of our classic G Wagons, showcasing our full frame off restorations to our classic tastefully done originals. Guests were able to get up close and personal with our vehicles and smell the genuine fresh leathers and other materials we upfitted to our custom builds.

Vantage Auto is more than a used car dealership, they are also passionate about the importance of giving back. Leasing Theory, powered by Vantage Auto, donates $250 to charity for every lease they buy out.

"It is important that you share when you do well," Andrew Glaser said. "Giving is an important part of life. That's something that was instilled in me when I was a child, how important it is to give charity."

The buzz surrounding the new Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz proves there’s plenty of interest in small pick-up trucks right now. Certainly, more than there was at Subaru dealers when the company launched the bizarre Baja back in 2002.

Essentially a Legacy or Outback wagon with the rear end replaced with a truck bed in an attempt to update the classic Subaru Brat concept, the Baja was previewed by a 2000 LA Auto Show design study, the ST-X, those letters standing for Sport Truck Experimental.
