After years of meticulous development, the Vantage Auto Reserve/Wolfgang’s team is proud to present what is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional custom, body-off restored 250GD “Wolf” models available anywhere in the world. One that retains the iconic design of the G wagon while making it a vehicle which can be enjoyed by a 21st century driver.

Restored from the ground up, this build has been thoughtfully engineered with the American driver in mind—someone who values timeless design but also demands modern performance capable of confidently keeping pace with today’s highway traffic. At its core is a custom-built OM606 turbo diesel engine, expertly assembled by our master Mercedes-Benz technicians and paired with a genuine Mercedes 5-speed electronic automatic transmission. The result is a refined yet powerful driving experience that is truly unlike any other. Brisk acceleration right off the line all up to highway cruising speed.

Every major component has been addressed during the restoration. This is a true body off frame nut and bolt restoration. The suspension, braking system, and supporting mechanicals have all been comprehensively upgraded, while the frame was completely stripped and professionally powder-coated to ensure long-term durability and structural integrity. You will find disc brakes all around which ensure you'll be as confident stopping as you are accelerating.

Inside, the cabin is entirely bespoke. Handcrafted by our in-house upholstery team, the interior maintains the iconic Wolf aesthetic while integrating modern comforts, including air conditioning and Apple CarPlay. The rear cargo area is finished with elegant oak flooring, adding a distinctive and upscale touch.

Functionality remains a key highlight—the soft top features easily roll-up side panels, and the entire top can be removed for an open-air driving experience.
