FUEL INJECTED 454! THOUSANDS IN CUSTOM WORK! SPECS INCLUDED IN GALLERY 1990 Chevrolet K5 Blazer V1500 was refurbished and modified in 2009, and it is powered by a fuel-injected 7.4-liter Vortec V8 linked with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission and an Advanced Adapters four-speed transfer case. The Dana 60 front and 14-bolt rear axles feature Detroit locking differentials, and the truck rides on a 7 and 9 suspension lift with BDS leaf springs, Rancho shocks, and 17 Marsh Racing beadlock wheels mounted with 40 13.50 Yokohama Geolander tires. Additional details include a dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, a PSC Motorsports hydro-assist steering kit, a crossover steering conversion kit, and a Moroso power steering cooler. The half-cab roof assembly was removed before the truck was repainted in orange and white, and features include a roll cage, a black Softopper soft top, a white hardtop, an aftermarket front bumper, a Warn winch, rock sliders, a tube rear bumper, a receiver hitch, and a Jensen touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The truck was initially built as a half-cab pickup, and in 2009, the half-cab roof assembly was removed, and a roll cage was installed along with a black Softopper soft top. The truck was repainted in orange and white, and additional details include an aftermarket front bumper with a Warn winch, a bull bar, and recovery shackles, as well as rock sliders, skid plates, and a tube rear bumper with taillight guards, a receiver hitch, and recovery shackles. The truck rides on a modified suspension with a 7 lift up front and a 9 lift out back and features BDS leaf springs with an Offroad Designs relocation kit and Rancho shocks. Additional suspension details include Offroad Designs shackles, polyurethane bushings, and bump stops. Offroad Designs steering modifications include a crossover steering conversion kit, a heavy-duty aluminum tie rod, and a steering brace. A Rock Stomper 4 drag link, a PSC Motorsports hydro-assist steering kit, and a Moroso power steering cooler have also been installed. The 17 Marsh Racing beadlock wheels are mounted with 40 13.50 Yokohama Geolander tires that show date codes from 2022 and 2023. The front axle features manually locking front hubs, and stopping power is provided by discs at all four corners with Offroad Designs stainless-steel brake lines. The four-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. An aftermarket tachometer and transmission temperature gauge have been installed. The six-digit odometer shows 121k miles, but it does not work. Total mileage is unknown as the gauge cluster has been disconnected, and due to the size of the wheels would not remain accurate. The ignition lock cylinder was replaced in February 2024.
